The CAD files should be in STL, topologically correct (especially regarding closed meshes), not larger than about 500kB per file.
Clips of self ligating brackets should be closed. Structured bases should be avoided - use plain bases instead.
We also need a table that specifies the following parameters for each file:

• Manufacturer name
• Bracket series name
• Single bracket order number (as per catalogue)
• Tooth number/s
• Material
• Slot size
• Angulation
• Inclination
• In/out
• Buccal or lingual use or both
• Hook: yes or no

If there is no written agreement between the manufacturer (the owner of the design IP) and Image Instruments about the import of bracket CAD files to the OnyxCeph³™ online bracket library, a statement by the manufacturer is needed that the files are provided legally for the intended purpose.

Note:
Scan files cannot be used unless the brackets have been reconstructed based on the scan.
