By icon button [90° Rotation] the view direction for the 3D scene in a 3D view (in single panel mode) can be rotated/tilt in 90° steps click-by-click always parallel to the object coordinate system axes. In case a multi panel view is active for the 3D view window, icon button [90° Rotation] is deactive. See also #4434 Extended 3D Standard View.
